I will never go there again and prior to this I was going at least twice a month.Houston-based Star Cinema Grill announced today plans to reopen their Baybrook Lifestyle Center location on Friday May 8th with a great line-up of classic movies and all tickets priced at $4, available now for purchase through their free mobile app.Īs one of the first movie theaters to open in this new normal, Star Cinema Grill has made many adjustments to their operations to ensure a safe environment for their guests and associates. It’s bad enough I missed parts of the movie each time I had to go seek them about about the check. Now I have to hope the second charge drops off, otherwise I’ll have to go back to that theater to hope they fix it. Once for what I owe and the other charge is what the bill would be split 50/50. To add insult to injury they charged my card twice. ![]() It left me with the feeling of being spit in the face with how horribly I was treated. I had to seek out a manager and then when I was given my check the manager was abrupt and apologized “ about your wait “ as he walked off. We sat there thru the end of the credits waiting for the fixed checks. The third time he just split it down the middle. The first two times didn’t have the check split at all. ![]() ![]() Before the end of the movie they brought the check three times. His response was “I already placed the order if I place it on one card I can split it later”. Our server assumed we ( 2 people) wanted one check when we placed our order. I would have recommended the Tampa location up until my experience last night.
